The Australian stock market, specifically the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), typically operates from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). However, we need to account for the time difference to convert this to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
Australia’s Eastern Standard Time is generally 10 hours ahead of GMT. Therefore, the market hours in GMT would be:
- Open: 10:00 AM AEST is 12:00 AM GMT
